How do we recycle?

The recycling sent to Pheobe is made back into the raw materials used in the manufacturing process, with significant carbon, energy, and cost-benefit compared to the use of virgin material. We’re partnering with Retailers, Councils and other Manufacturers to create a single point of recycling accessible to everyone.

Creating a circular lifecycle for medical products.

Pharmaceutical packaging is difficult to recycle, meaning millions of
tonnes end up in landfills each year. Discarded medicine can also contaminate
waterways. Phoebe collects this waste for recycling greatly reducing the amount of PVC and discarded medicine sent to landfills.

We and our partners are committed to reducing and recycling this waste and enabling a circular lifecycle for medical products.

Product Creation

Using renewable energy and recycled raw materials, new products are packaged and created using GxP and under MHRA regulations.

Transportation

The products are shipped to distribution centres. Wherever feasible we transport our products using electric vehicles, lowering adverse environmental impact.

Collection

Once the products are in the hands of consumers, the problem we all face is getting these single-use products recycled and back into the system. That’s why we’re partnering with Retailers, Councils and other Manufacturers to create a single point of recycling accessible to everyone.

Raw material Creation

The recycling sent to Pheobe is made back into the raw materials used in the packaging and manufacturing process, Our process allows the recycling of these materials into new blister packs, with significant carbon, energy, and cost-benefit compared to the use of virgin material. Closing lifecycle back to product creation.
